The Holland Hospital employee campaign began in 1999 and raised $2,600. By 2013, over $500,000 was raised to date. Nearly 300 Holland Hospital employees gave this year. Their generous donations raised $64,797 for Holland Hospital’s community outreach programs. This brings the cumulative total to $1,008,134.
All proceeds from this year’s campaign benefit the School Nurse Program, Breast Care Fund, Holland Community Health Center, Faith Community Nurse at the Holland Rescue Mission and the School Mental Health Program.
“Whether our employees give year after year or once in their career, all contributions make a meaningful difference,” said Colleen Perdok, fund development coordinator at Holland Hospital. “These programs play such a vital role in our community, and we’re so thankful for the continued support.”
