Osteoporosis Specialist Will Focus on Bone Health

HOLLAND – May 09, 2011 - Holland Hospital is pleased to welcome Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner, Anne M. McKay, MSN, ANP-BC to the lakeshore area.  McKay specializes in osteoporosis diagnosis and management, and has extensive knowledge and experience in developing programs around comprehensive osteoporosis-specific care.  She will offer consultation and patient management services for Holland Hospital’s osteoporosis and bone health program.    

 

McKay earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Delaware State University and her Masters degree in Nursing from the University of Virginia.  She received her Post Masters Certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner from University of Michigan, and is currently a Doctorate of Nursing Practice candidate at Madonna University.

 

McKay has 26 years of advance nursing practice, including seventeen years as a certified Adult Nurse Practitioner, with experience in the diagnosis and management of primary and secondary osteoporosis.  She will be seeing patients by referral beginning May 16 at her office, located at 8300 Westpark Way in Zeeland.
