Holland - Feb 16, 2012 - Holland Hospital is pleased to announce that Barb DePree, M.D., of Women’s Midlife Services in Holland has joined the hospital’s Lakeshore Health Partners medical group, becoming Lakeshore Health Partners–Women’s Health. Dr. DePree is a board-certified gynecologist and certified menopause practitioner specializing in women’s midlife health issues, including gynecological care and menopause-related issues such as hormone-replacement therapy and sexual health. Dr. DePree’s office was recently relocated to a spacious suite in the Holland Hospital Medical Building in Zeeland. Also joining Lakeshore Health Partners–Women’s Health is primary care and board-certified physician Laurie Birkholz, M.D. Dr. Birkholz received her degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, followed by a residency at St. Luke’s Family Practice and a fellowship in Women’s Health with Aurora Health Care in Milwaukee, WI. Dr. Birkholz is a women’s health specialist and certified menopause practitioner with special interests in women’s sexual health, menopausal medicine and cancer survivorship.
