Health Care Careers Available as Holland Hospital Hosts Career Fair May 2

Over 100 open positions for all skill levels, with the opportunity to apply and interview on-site

HOLLAND, Mich., April 25, 2024 — Calling all compassionate individuals seeking a rewarding career in health care. Holland Hospital is hosting a career fair on Thursday, May 2 at the Holland Hospital Conference Center (602 Michigan Ave, Holland, MI). Whether a seasoned professional or just starting, this event is open to anyone interested in learning about career opportunities within the organization.

The Career Fair is taking place amid a nationwide health care worker shortage, in which, according to the Michigan Health and Hospital Association (MHA), “high demand exists for non-clinical roles as well, with more than 27,000 total open positions at hospitals across the state.” And the situation is expected to continue, a 2021 report by Mercer, predicted a shortage of more than 3.2 million health care workers in the U.S. within the next five years, including essential roles such as medical assistants, home health aides, and nursing assistants.

Given this ongoing need, Holland Hospital's Career Fair offers a unique opportunity to join the health care workforce during a vital time. The Career Fair will feature the opportunity for onsite interviews for various positions with on-the-spot job offers. Attendees will have the opportunity to talk with hiring managers about Holland Hospital job shadowing, on-the-job training, flexible scheduling, and remote work options. 

The organization is currently hiring part-time and full-time positions for all shifts. The Career Fair includes opportunities for entry-level, clinical, technical, professional, and administrative positions for all skill and educational levels.
