Clinical Neurologist Joins Practice in Holland

HOLLAND – March 21, 2011 - Holland Hospital is pleased to welcome clinical neurologist Gerald F. Robbins, DO, FACN to Lakeshore Health Partners (LHP) – Neurology.  Dr. Robbins joins Steven VanDoornik, MD, and Paul Ariagno, MD in practice at 577 Michigan Avenue, Suite 104 in Holland

Dr. Robbins received his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by an internship and residency at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills, MI and Epilepsy minifellowships at Bowman – Gray School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, N.C.  Dr. Robbins has also been honored as a Fellow by the American College of Neuropsychiatrists and American College of Utilization Review Physicians, and has received the Walter F. Patenge Medal of Public Service.

Lakeshore Health Partners (LHP), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Holland Hospital, was formed in 2009 to provide patients with local access to primary and specialty care, latest technology and treatments, and state-of-the-art medical facilities.  The group began with eight physicians in three specialties.  LHP has since expanded to include over 30 physicians in several specialty areas including LHP-Internal Medicine, LHP-Foot & Ankle Specialist, LHP-Adult Hospitalists, LHP-Pediatrics, LHP-Internal Medicine/Pediatrics, LHP-Neurology, and LHP – Family Medicine.
