The da Vinci 5 is the most advanced and integrated technology in the da Vinci portfolio, joining the ranks of the X, Xi and SP systems. This versatile platform will be utilized across a range of minimally invasive specialties, including bariatric, general, gynecological and urological.

design. As with all da Vinci systems, the surgeon remains 100% in control, with the technology translating their hand movements into smaller, more precise actions inside the patient’s body. Key enhancements include:

- Optimized vision that delivers truer colors and higher resolution for the most realistic 3D image available in robotic surgery.

- Advanced computing power, which features more than 10,000x the computing power of the previous da Vinci Xi to deliver actionable data and insights.
