HOLLAND, Mich., Jan. 13, 2026 — Holland Hospital’s Bone & Joint Center is proud to announce that orthopedic surgeon Derick Johnson, DO has successfully performed 2,000 robotic-assisted knee replacements using the Mako™ Knee system from Stryker Corporation, positively impacting thousands of people across West Michigan.
As the first orthopedic surgeon in West Michigan to be certified in Mako SmartRobotics™ for both partial and total knee replacement, Dr. Johnson has solidified his position as a leader in joint reconstruction across the region.
