Holland Hospital Women’s Specialty Care

Women's Specialty Care Renovations 2020

The Holland Hospital Women’s Specialty Care team is pleased to introduce their new name, new location and new team members.

Formerly Lakeshore Health Partners – Women’s Health, Holland Hospital Women’s Specialty Care recently opened their doors to a newly remodeled space at 844 Washington Ave. The new location offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere and features eight exam rooms, four consultation rooms and several other patient-focused amenities, along with onsite mammography and a bone health testing suite. This new space allows for growth and expansion and continued collaboration as Women’s Specialty Care, High Risk Breast and Breast Surgical Services are now located in the same building.

“The new office allows women to access our providers, services and technology in one convenient and comfortable place,” said Christine Gilbertson, Program Manager, Holland Hospital Women’s Specialty Care and High Risk Breast Clinic. “Plus, there’s room for us to grow, so we can continue to provide the complete care women have come to expect from us in the years ahead.”

Women’s Specialty Care provides a variety of health care services to about 2,500 women across the lakeshore. The team includes board certified Ob/Gyn and menopause practitioner, Barb DePree, MD, and two new nurse practitioners, Lindsey Jonker, WHNP, and Hannah Clark, FNP.

Holland Hospital Women’s Specialty Care is dedicated to meet the needs of women at every age and stage of life, by providing access to personalized care, specialized support and advanced technology in a comfortable setting. Building personal relationships with women is cornerstone to the practice’s culture of caring.

“It’s been such a privilege to practice women’s health in our community for the past 30 years,” Dr. DePree said. “Perimenopause and menopause can pose unique challenges to both physical and emotional health, and taking the time to help women understand the complexity of this transition and how to navigate it in the most successful way possible is very rewarding.”

Be sure to join us on Wednesday, October 28 for a virtual video tour and conversation with our Women’s Specialty Care team. The videos will premiere on our Facebook page at 1 PM.
