U.S. News & World Report Recognizes Holland Hospital for Excellent Care in Hip Replacement
Holland Hospital is receiving national recognition as a High Performing Hospital in hip replacement by the U.S. News & World Report.
The U.S. News analysis of hospitals includes data from nearly 5,000 healthcare centers across multiple medical specialties, procedures and medical conditions. Of all hospitals evaluated, fewer than 30% earned a single High Performing rating. These ratings focus on individual procedures and conditions not just with the most difficult cases, but with the full range of patients.
U.S. News compares data from multiple sources, including the Standard Analytical File, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, American Hospital Association’s annual survey, American Nurses Credentialing Center and the Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
Mortality and readmission rates, length of stay, patient volume, patient safety and nurse staffing are all factored into each assessment.
