Ways You Can Help Care for the Community

We are grateful for the outpouring of requests from our community to help during this COVID-19 pandemic. And we’re humbled by your prayers, notes and well wishes that uplift our hospital and medical staff. So many within our community have asked about ways to help in this time of need.

We are truly in this together. With a national shortage of protective gear and supplies, we are turning to you, our community, for your support to help our health care workers further prepare for the days and weeks ahead.

What We Need

Items most in need at this time

  • N95 masks (particularly Surgical N95 masks)
  • Sanitizing wipes
  • Extended gloves with extra protection - all sizes
  • Face shields

Additional Protective Gear* (see below for specifications and instructions)

We are also accepting financial donations and your generous offers to hand-make protective masks. Please follow these instructions to ensure safety and quality.

A polyurethane laminate fabric is preferred for washable isolation gowns. A tightly woven poly/cotton blend with heavier interfacing between is also acceptable, if PUL fabric is not available.

All donated materials can be brought to 121 W. 24th Street, Holland, MI 49423, between 8 AM and 3 PM, Monday through Friday. A staff member will receive your donation at the front door. Just knock.

To allow for proper social distancing and reduce risk of exposure for all, please allow physical space between you and other donors.

Please do not drop off items if you are sick or have been around individuals with a fever or cough.

Should you have any additional questions, please call our donations hotline at (616) 294-7720.

And thank you for your generous support.
