Sports Medicine

It’s my privilege to kick off Holland Hospital’s Sports Medicine blog on behalf of an incredible team of professionals who dedicate their careers to helping others reach their goals. The Sports Medicine program we’ve created here at Holland Hospital and the expertise and resources available are second-to-none.

It’s a multidisciplinary team of skilled providers with an intentional focus on our active community and a shared philosophy of getting people back to their active lifestyle as quickly as possible. This specialized group is made up of fellowship trained sports medicine physicians, orthopedic surgeons, primary care physicians, urgent care physicians, physical therapists and athletic trainers. Together, they developed the mission statement that defines Holland Hospital Sports Medicine:

“To be the premier provider of comprehensive, coordinated and collaborative sports medicine services dedicated to maintaining, restoring and improving the lifestyles of athletes and active individuals.”

Whether you’re a high school athlete, first seen on the field by an athletic trainer, seek treatment in urgent care or visit your primary care physician for that nagging ache, our team of experts work together towards the same goal of restoring and improving your function and lifestyle.

It’s one thing to have all the services available within an organization, but to have a committed group of physicians, therapists, athletic trainers and other health care professionals gathering regularly with the same objective of better serving our active community, is truly unique.

And when you or members of your family need our services, you can be confident that you’re getting the most appropriate and expert care of our Sports Medicine TEAM – all focused on you.
