The mission of the Holland Hospital Foundation is to raise funds to provide health care services, equipment and programs within the community for people who would otherwise not have access to needed care. Currently, the Foundation is focusing on three identified areas of need:

Focus Areas

1. THE SCHOOL NURSING PROGRAM – supports registered nurses and health aides in local elementary schools who provide on-site health services and education for thousands of schoolchildren.

2.  THE COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER – serves people who are uninsured or under-insured and have no other avenue to access health care services. The Health Center has identified three major areas of need:

• WOMEN'S AND CHILDREN'S SERVICES
• DIABETES CLINIC
• ELDER CARE

3. C0MMUNITY NURSING – a pilot program will be underway with the purpose of providing nursing care and medical access to the underserved population in areas of our community where other organizations are present.
