Your Team

Experience our expert home team advantage.

Watching from the sidelines is never part of an athlete's plan. Whether you're the parent of an active teen, an athlete or a sports enthusiast you know teamwork is key. The same goes for sports medicine and Holland Hospital uses a team approach for your benefit.

Sports Medicine Physicians

Our fellowship-trained physicians and orthopedic experts specialize in non-surgical and surgical solutions. If you have a knee, hip, wrist, elbow, shoulder, foot, ankle or other sports-related injury or a possible concussion, we make sure you see someone who specializes in treating your particular condition. You'll receive expert care that meets your specific needs.

Certified Athletic Trainers

Our athletic trainers are certified health care professionals skilled in injury prevention, assessment, treatment, management and rehabilitation. Each athletic trainer works with an area high school during the school year to help educate about safe sports, guide sports conditioning, provide acute injury management, expedite referrals to specialists and assist in the safe return to play.

Orthopedic doctors at The University of Kansas Hospital are expertly trained to work with all moving parts of the body. They specialize in correcting bone, ligament and tendon injuries and disorders. - See more at: http://www.kumed.com/orthopedics-sports-medicine/orthopedics#sthash.RJiVpzZU.dpuf

They're experienced in working with patients who have sports-related injuries or have just had orthopedic surgery. Together with you and your physician, we'll get you back to performing at your best.
