In the Special Care Nursery, you are not visitors—you are family—and we welcome you in the nursery any time, day or night. You may spend time at your baby’s bedside or relax in other areas of the nursery. When you need to take a break and go home, you can call us as often as you like for updates.

Patient Centered
We understand that every baby arrives in the Special Care Nursery with their own unique set of health concerns and their parents' own unique set of hopes and dreams for them. Our highly skilled team is committed to understanding what makes your family special and sending you home with the strongest, healthiest baby we can.

Team Approach
We value the contributions that every member of the Special Care Nursery staff make to the recovery of our little patients. Our patients' successful outcomes are a tribute to the attentive care of special-care nurses and the skills of specialized pediatric hospitalists.  Other members of the team could include a lactation consultant, speech, occupational, or physical therapy and cardiopulmonary specialists.

Magnet® Nurses
In the Special Care Nursery, our highly trained, nationally recognized Magnet® nurses specialize in babies with special medical needs. They’ve committed their careers to knowing how to provide the care and love that will help your baby grow strong. They feel privileged to care for your baby and treat you like family.
