Our goal is nothing less than restoring the whole person—body, mind and
spirit—to a fulfilling and independent life. The multidisciplinary
rehabilitation team includes certified and licensed specialists:
Physical Therapists: work with you to improve range of motion and flexibility, decrease pain, improve function and mobility
Occupational Therapists: work with you to address the things we want and need to do in our daily life such as: self-care, education, work, leisure, social participation, and driving
Neuropsychiatrists: provide specific testing in order to help guide treatment towards a full recovery
Respiratory Therapists: care for patients who have trouble breathing; for example, from a chronic respiratory disease, such as asthma or emphysema
Speech and Language Pathologists: assist patients having difficulty with voice, speech, written expression, word finding, memory, concentration, thinking skills, and swallowing
Medical Social Workers: work with you if you need help with everyday life, emotional adjustments or treatment planning
Exercise Physiologists: provide participation-centered care by assessing, monitoring, and progressing exercise in a controlled setting. Creates individualized exercise programs to increase fitness, strength, endurance, and flexibility
Athletic Trainers: specialize in injury and illness prevention, assessment, treatment, management and rehabilitation for all physically active people
Dietitians: advise on matters of food and nutrition impacts on
health
Registered Nurses: administer medications
and treatments as well as provide education and helping integrate
therapy skills into daily activities
