At HollandHospital, experienced, certified technologists perform diagnostic imaging. All radiologists are board certified and sub-specialize in such areas as musculoskeletal, neurological, cross-sectional, women’s care and other imaging specialties.
HollandHospital has long featured advanced imaging equipment such as CT, MRI, ultrasound and X-ray. This year it adds to its imaging arsenal one of the world’s first VCT (volume computed tomography) systems — a 64-slice scanner that captures images of a beating heart in five heartbeats, an organ in one second, and whole body trauma in 10 seconds. It is the Lakeshore area’s first 64-slice scanner. Learn more about what to expect during a VCT.
As our community has grown on the north side of Holland, Holland Hospital’s presence there has grown as well, including diagnostic imaging services. The Medical Imaging Center offers imaging services at a convenient location in Building C of the Lakeshore Medical Campus, off Riley Street just east of US-31. Call (616) 546-4900.
