Our rehabilitation specialists can help the patient return to the highest level of function and independence possible, while improving the overall quality of life—physically, emotionally and socially.

Neurological rehabilitation is designed for people with diseases, trauma or disorders of the nervous system. The goal is to improve function, reduce pain or discomfort and improve quality of life. Holland Hospital's Rehabilitation Services is specifically staffed and equipped to treat a variety of conditions that affect the nervous system. Our team works closely with the patient's primary care physician, neurologist and/or physiatrist to develop a personalized care plan to improve function and well-being.

Conditions that may benefit from neurological rehabilitation include:

  • Stroke or TIA 
  • Brain injury/concussion
  • Spinal cord injury
  • Tumors or infections of the brain, spinal cord or nerves
  • Headaches, dizziness, seizure disorders
  • Degenerative disorders such as Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease
  • Other conditions
