In the Intensive Care and Telemetry Unit, visitors become part of their loved one's care team and part of our family. We welcome family and friends in the department any time, day or night. They can choose to stay at the patient's bedside or relax in our comfortable lounge.

Patient Centered
A patient's arrival in the ICU/TU is almost always an unexpected event and likely very concerning to them and their loved ones. Our compassionate caregivers are committed to getting to know each patient and family, and appreciating what makes them special. When our patients are strong enough to return home, we continue to offer whatever support may be necessary, such as rehabilitation or education about lifestyle changes.

Team Approach
In our ICU/TU, specialists from medical services throughout the hospital work together in evaluating patients' conditions and deciding on the best treatments. This team approach not only ensures the best patient outcomes, but it allows each patient’s care to be customized to their specific needs.
