To this end, we have integrated Behavioral Health Specialists into many of our Holland Hospital Medical Group primary care offices.
A Behavioral Health Specialist, who is a masters-level clinical social worker, can help you develop a plan to manage conditions such as anxiety, depression, or substance use issues. Your plan may include brief, solution-focused therapy with the Behavioral Health Specialist at the primary care office or referrals for treatment in the community. The Behavioral Health Specialist will coordinate with your primary care physician to address your medication needs related to your condition or connect you with psychiatric services as needed.
