Community Outreach

Community outreach activities grow from Holland Hospital’s mission to “continually improve the health of the communities we serve” by offering a variety of programs that promote a healthy lifestyle.

Holland Hospital not only provides superior health care but devotes  resources to help meet the ongoing needs for community health education and awareness. This commitment has grown to include wellness programs and community health needs services. These programs and services not only address health care needs of those less fortunate but include our Physician Lectures Series, television appearances and radio shows that provide our entire community with knowledge that can improve their understanding about health care in general and about matters that can improve a specific condition.

Community Health Needs Assessment

The federal government now requires that non-profit hospitals conduct a community health assessment. These census-like studies help health care providers build stronger relationships with their communities, identify needs and dedicate funding and other resources toward programs that clearly benefit local residents. The outcome of this multi-organizational study is available for reading in the download links.
