The mission of Holland Hospital is to continually improve the health of the communities we serve in the spirit of hope, respect, compassion and dignity.

We accomplish this by reaching out to provide needed services in the community focused on wellness and prevention. Our goals are as follows:
  • Implement effective programming to promote community health improvement
  • Collaborate and integrate with community agencies, school districts and faith communities
  • Develop and implement effective programming to promote employee wellness in partnership with local employers
  • Establish mechanisms to measure the effective of our community outreach programming

Community Health Needs Assessment

Holland Hospital is a member of the CHNA (Community Health Needs Assessment) Steering Committee. The needs assessment is conducted every 3 years in order to remain as a Charitable 501(c)3 Hospital. The results of these studies are used to assist in planning, implementation of programs and services, evaluating results, allocation of resources and achieving improved health outcomes specifically related to identified needs. The first report was released in April of 2012 followed by the most recent report in the spring of 2015. Work is underway by the group for the release of the 2018 report.
