Holland Hospital, in partnership with The Lakeshore Area Radiation Oncology Center (LAROC), employs cutting-edge technology to provide high-quality patient care.Opened in 1993, LAROC is a cooperative venture among West Michigan hospitals to meet the need of cancer treatment for patients along the lakeshore.

Advanced Technology and Treatments

• New Varian iX Linear Accelerator which allows patients to receive intensity modulated radiation therapy and image guided radiation therapy.  These provide improved precision and effectiveness of treatment by targeting tumors more accurately.
• Aria software connects patient information and images into a single, organized, cancer-specific medical record. Helps coordinate physician consultation, simulation, planning and treatment, improving efficiency and accuracy.

The Lakeshore Area Radiation Oncology Center's comprehensive outpatient radiation therapy treatment center is accredited by the American College of Radiation Oncology.
