The Boven Birth Center goes to great lengths to help you have the beautiful, meaningful birth experience you desire. We’re devoted to making the first few days with your baby unforgettable by treating you like a family members in our home.

Patient Centered
Every expectant mother dreams of her own perfect birth. We understand that you are unique, so we do our best to fulfill your wishes. Our holistic approach aims to comfort your body while also enrich your mind and spirit. To celebrate your baby's birth, our chef will prepare a special dinner for you and your partner or guest.

Team Approach
The Boven Birth Center has assembled a team of obstetricians, pediatricians, nurses, parent advocates, and others who will be personally involved in your care from your first pre-natal appointment to your family's return home. You will receive the best care possible across our spectrum of comprehensive services.  No matter what needs arise, we take the steps that ensure you a healthy, happy transition from hospital to home.

Parent Support
They say babies don't come with instruction manuals, however at the Boven Birth Center, yours will. Our Parent Advocates are a dedicated team who provide information and support.  Parent Advocates arm you with the parenting know-how you need during the first months of life.

Community
We invite you to visit our Community page to learn more about how we've made a difference in the lives of families all over West Michigan.

While we celebrate healthy births at Boven every day, we also have the rare—and very sad—occasion to grieve alongside parents after a miscarriage or the death of a newborn. Our bereavement services and support group assists families through a holistic grieving process.

Healing At Home
While each new mom is different, our goal is for you to recover from your birth in the comfort and privacy of your own home as soon as possible. Most families are able to return home in just one or two days after a traditional delivery, or three to four days after a Cesarean section. Read more about what to expect after going home.
