Our multidisciplinary treatment team includes psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, medical social workers and other mental health professionals with experience in treating a wide range of concerns. We offer specially designed programs for adolescents, adults and seniors—all with a compassionate, holistic approach to treat the whole person. We also have a certified MD Addictionologist on staff—a psychiatrist specializing in addiction treatment and medicine.

Dr. Dumerauf is the Medical Director for Holland Hospital Behavioral Services. He is board certified with an additional certificate in Geriatric Psychiatry. His interests are general adult psychiatric care with interest in the treatment of panic disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorders. |

Dr. Fomunung is board certified in psychiatry with a fellowship in Child & Adolescent psychiatry at the University of Michigan. He specializes in child and adolescent psychiatry with additional background in pediatric bi-polar disorder and interest in pervasive developmental disorders. |

Sherry Oegema, RN, LMSW
Sherry is Holland Hospital's Director of Behavioral Health Services. In this role, she oversees the inpatient and outpatient departments, including the substance abuse services. Prior to joining Holland Hospital, Sherry held various management positions at Pine Rest over her 21-year tenure there. She holds a master's degree in clinical social work from Western Michigan University. She is certified as a Michigan social worker and registered nurse, and is a licensed marriage and family therapist.

Criselda Bazan, LMSW
Criselda is a licensed master level social worker providing individual and family therapy as a member of the Behavioral Health outpatient team. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Sociology at Hope College and her Masters in Social Work at the University of Michigan. Criselda has extensive experience in providing therapy and counseling to West Michigan residents in a variety of treatment settings including counseling centers, schools, Community Mental Health and residential treatment programs. Her areas of professional interest and treatment include caring for the emotional and behavioral needs of youths, families and adults.

Mark Bombara, MA, LLP, LMSW, CAAC
Mark provides marital and pre-marital counseling, as well as psychotherapy services to address the following: anxiety, depression, ADD, bipolar disorder, stress management, substance abuse, relationships, anger management and more. Prior to joining Holland Hospital, Mark served at Touchstone Transitions Community Support Program, providing case-management services to chronic mentally ill adult patients, and individual and family counseling. Bombara also served at Christian Psychological Services in Grand Rapids, providing faith-based counseling services for adults, children and teens. Mark holds a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from Western Michigan University and a bachelor's degree in psychology from Hope College.

Jeff Carroll, PhD
Dr. Carroll was born and raised in Grand Rapids. He received his undergraduate degree from Western Michigan University in psychology and music. He received his master's degree from Western Kentucky University in clinical psychology and completed his PhD. at Indiana State University. Dr. Carroll completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Saint Louis University Medical School in Behavioral Medicine. Dr. Carroll works with adults, couples, families, older adolescents and seniors. Dr. Carroll specializes in depression, anxiety, social anxiety, marital issues and trauma issues. He also provides psychological testing and consultation.

Lorraine Harper, MSW
Lorraine is a licensed master level social worker specializing in childhood and adolescent issues. She received her B.A. degree in elementary education from Hope College and M.S.W. degree as a clinical social worker from the University of Michigan. Lorraine has worked as a teacher and school social worker prior to joining Holland Hospital Behavioral Health Services. She also has experience working with adults dealing with depression, anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Craig Koch, MSW, ACSW
Craig was born in West Michigan and raised in Grand Rapids. He received his undergraduate degree from Grand Valley State University in psychology and sociology. He received his masters of social work degree from Western Michigan University and did internships with the out-patient clinic at Kent Oaks Hospital and in the pediatrics unit at Metropolitan Hospital. He is the former director of the Social Work Department at Forest View Psychiatric Hospital and was the clinical supervisor for the Patient and Family Counseling Department at Metropolitan Hospital. He works with adults, families, couples and adolescents. He specializes in depression, anxiety, marital issues, step-family issues, adjustment to life issues and grief counseling.

Karen Ledford, LMSW, CAAC
Karen is a native of West Michigan who has many years of experience working in the local business sector before joining Holland Hospital - first as an inpatient therapist and now as a member of the outpatient team. She holds two degrees from Grand Valley State University including an undergraduate degree in Behavioral Sciences and a Masters of Social Work. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Advanced Addictions Counselor, Karen provides services for adults with anxiety, depression, relationship and marital issues, trauma issues, bipolar disorder, substance abuse and issues related to stress, anger management and grief and loss.

Jayne Lubbers, LMSW, CAAC
Jayne was born and raised in Holland. After graduation with her B.A. in psychology from the University of Michigan, she and her husband worked through their church doing community development in Mexico for several years before returning to West Michigan to raise their family. Jayne later completed her Master's degree in Social Work at Grand Valley State University. She sees adult clients with anxiety, depression, trauma history, bipolar disorder as well as other concerns such as grief, loss, stress, anger, and relationship issues. A Certified Advanced Addictions Counselor, Jayne coordinates the Intensive Outpatient Program for Substance Abuse and works with the Ottawa County Drug Treatment Court program. She also provides individual therapy for clients who have problems with alcohol and/or other drugs, and for the family members of those who struggle with addictive behaviors.

Stephen W. Randolph , PhD
Stephen joins the Behavioral Health Services Child and Adolescent team, returning to his home state of Michigan after a successful psychology career in New York City. He earned his MA with Distinction and his Ph.D. in both School and Clinical Psychology from Hofstra University’s cognitive-behavioral program on Long Island. Following a clinical internship at Karen Horney Psychoanalytic Clinic and a school internship in the Rockville Centre school system, Dr. Randolph worked at Blythedale Children’s Hospital in Westchester County, Pius XII Foster Care Agency in the South Bronx and Lifeline School for Child Development in Queens Village. After another fifteen years experience in group practice on Staten Island and eight years of simultaneous private practice in Manhattan, he welcomes the opportunity to provide treatment for children, adolescents, adults and seniors in West Michigan. His specialties include adjustment disorders, depression, anxiety, impulse control disorders including obsessive-compulsive issues, stress, and trauma with experience in treating survivors of the September 11 World Trade Center disaster in New York City. In addition, he has experience with marital therapy, family issues, pervasive developmental disorders, childhood phobias, selective mutism, and tic disorders such as trichotillomania. His training and experience in school psychology also qualify him in the area of psychological testing.

Jean Russner, MA, LLP
Jean is part of the Adolescent team. Prior to joining Holland Hospital's Behavioral Services she worked administratively with a developmental follow-up clinic, a preschool, and a parenting mentor program. Jean holds a BA in Psychology from DePauw University as well as a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Bowling Green State University. While completing her predoctoral internship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in general adult psychiatric treatment, Jean received specialized training in parenting and early childhood interventions for children with ADHD, prenatal drug exposure, and opposition/defiant and other disruptive behavior issues. In addition to the parenting of children and teens, Jean specializes in the treatment of anxiety and depression for all ages, as well as interpersonal conflict, relationship and family issues.
