We offer specially designed programs for adolescents, adults and seniors—all with a compassionate, holistic approach to treat the whole person. We also have a certified MD Addictionologist on staff—a psychiatrist specializing in addiction treatment and medicine.
James Dumerauf, MD
Dr. Dumerauf is the Medical Director for Holland Hospital Behavioral Services. He is board certified in general Adult Psychiatry with over 20+ years of experience. Dr. Dumerauf practices general adult psychiatric care with special interest in the treatment of panic disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorders. Currently he works primary with patients requiring inpatient services.
Bobga Fomunung, MD
Dr. Fomunung is a board certified Child and Adolescent psychiatrist with an additional board certification in Adult Psychiatry. He completed a Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at University of Michigan and received additional training in pediatric Bipolar Disorder. Dr. Fomunung maintains a primary practice in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry with an interest in Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Joyce Gregory, MD
Dr. Gregory is board certified in Addiction Psychiatry, having completed a fellowship at Northwestern University Memorial Hospital. Dr. Gregory works with adults experiencing general mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and mood dysregulation. She also specializes in treating people with substance abuse disorders.
Thomas Kuhn, MD
Dr. Kuhn in board certified in Adult Psychiatry with a primary interest in general outpatient psychiatry. He has over 20 years experience working with adults of all ages. Dr. Kuhn treats adults struggling with issues such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, mood dysregulation, trauma experiences and thought disorders.
Jillian Lankford, MD
Dr. Lankford is board certified in Adult Psychiatry. Her professional focus includes general outpatient psychiatry. She works with adults of all ages experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma reactions and thought disorders. Dr. Lankford also holds an interest in treating women encountering psychiatric issues in conjunction with pregnancy and child-rearing, such as perinatal anxiety and postpartum depression.
Elizabeth Sunde, MD
Dr. Sunde is board certified in both Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Adult Psychiatry. She has over 30 years of combined experience in teaching and practicing Psychiatry. Dr. Sunde's current practice is Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, assisting families with youth facing ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood dysregulation, behavioral difficulties and Autistic Spectrum Disorder issues.
Lucien Tamer, MD
Dr. Tamer treats adults experiencing general psychiatric issues, such as depression anxiety, thought disorders, and other struggles with emotional dysregulation. He completed his medical school education at Spartan Health Sciences University in Saint Lucia and his Psychiatric Residency at the Morehouse School of Medicine. He has worked with both inpatients and outpatients, most recently practicing in Southwest Michigan in a private, group practice, as well as at Riverwood Medical Center and Lakeland Hospital.
Criselda Bazan, LMSW
Chris is a Licensed Master of Social Work having completed her Master's degree a University of Michigan. She has extensive experience in providing individual and family therapy to area residents in a variety of treatment settings including: counseling centers, schools, community mental health centers, and residential treatment programs. Chris works with a wide range of people including children, adolescents, adults and families. Her areas of interest include anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, stress and trauma.
Mike Jansen, PhD
Dr. Jansen is a Fully Licensed Psychologist providing outpatient psychotherapy, behavior management an psychological assessments for children, adolescents and adults with AD/HD, mood related disorders and behavioral disorders. He also provides psychotherapy and family/relational therapy with the adult population. Dr. Jansen received two Masters' degrees and a Doctoral degree from Western Michigan University with emphases in counseling psychology, child and adolescent clinical psychology and marital and family therapy.
Mark Bombara, MA, LLP, LMSW, CAADC
Mark is a Limited Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Master of Social Work, and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor with specialized training in problem gambling and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. He holds a Master's degree from Western Michigan University. Mark is the only provider in Allegan and Ottawa Counties paneled to provide gambling treatment for the State of Michigan gambling treatment network. Mark also provides martial and premarital counseling, as well as psychotherapy services to address the following: anxiety disorders, depression, ADD bipolar disorder, stress management, substance abuse, relationships, anger management, the integration of faith/spirituality and more.
Jeff Carroll, PhD
Dr. Carroll has been involved with the inpatient and outpatient services of Holland Hospital for 30 years. He completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Behavioral Medicine from Saint Louis University Medical School. He works with adults, couples, families, older adolescents and seniors. Dr. Carroll specializes in depression, anxiety, social anxiety, chronic pain, marital issues and trauma issues. He also provides psychological testing and consultation.
Lorraine Harper, LMSW
Lorraine is a Licensed Master of Social Work, having completed her Master's degree at the University of Michigan. Prior to joining Holland Hospital, she worked as a teacher and school social worker. Lorraine specializes in treating children, adolescents, and their families. She also has experience working with adults dealing with depression, anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder and LBGT issues.
Kylene Krause, PhD
Dr. Krause is a Fully Licensed Psychologist, completing her doctoral degree at Eastern Michigan University. As a past pre-school teacher, she enjoys working with individuals and families of all ages. Dr. Krause's areas of professional interest include: parenting and behavioral difficulties, relational/attachment issues including couples therapy, trauma (across the lifespan) including interpersonal violence, stress and relaxation, adjustment to divorce (child or adult focused), depression, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, and LGBT issues.
Karen Ledford, LMSW, CAADC
Karen is a Licensed Master of Social Work and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She completed her Master's degree at Grand Valley State University and has additional training in the skills associated with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Karen's treatment focus is working with adults of all ages on issues such as anxiety, depression, mood regulation, grief/loss, trauma, phase of life adjustment, self-actualization and substance abuse. She holds special interest in women's health issues and working with people experiencing chronic and acute illness.
Jayne Lubbers, LMSW, CAADC
Jayne is a Licensed Master of Social Work, having completed her Master's degree at Grand Valley State University. A Holland native, Jayne works with adult clients with anxiety, depression, trauma history, bipolar disorder as well as other concerns such as grief, loss, stress, anger and relationship issues. Also a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Jayne coordinates the Intensive Outpatient Program for Substance Abuse and works with the Ottawa county Drug Treatment Court program. She also provides individual therapy for clients who have problems with alcohol and/or other drugs, and for the family members of those who struggle with addictive behaviors.
Victor Steinbach, LMSW
Victor is a Licensed Master of Social Work who has lived in Western Michigan for over thirty years, obtaining his Masters of Social Work degree from Western Michigan University. He has experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families. Vic has extensive training and experience treating children and adolescents who have suffered significant trauma and loss in their lives. He is also experienced in providing treatment for anger management, depression, and anxiety for both children and adults.
Jude Vereyken, LMSW, CAADC
Jude is a Licensed Master of Social Work with a degree from Western Michigan University and over 25 years of clinical practice in the Holland community. She is also a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Her specialties include treating individuals with: substance use disorders and/or their family members, depression, anxiety, trauma histories, adjustment disorders, stress, grief/loss concerns, life changes and co-occurring disorders. Her professional experience has been with teens, adults, adults and group work with adults.
Scott Steenwyk, LMSW, CAADC
Scott is a Licensed Master of Social Work who received his degree from Western Michigan University. He has been at Holland Hospital since 2010. Scott's areas of professional interest include working with children, adolescents and families to address issues such as anxiety, depression, self-harm behaviors, parenting challenges/support, oppositional/defiant behavior, anger, ADHD and substance abuse/dependence.
