For eight years in a row, Holland Hospital has been selected as one of the nation's 100 Top Hospitals. Truven Health Analytics (formerly Thomson Reuters) annually conducts an independent review of nearly 3,000 hospitals and recognizes those demonstrating superior performance. The valuation is based on patient care factors such as safety and satisfaction and financial indicators such as expenses and profitability. Holland Hospital is the only medium-sized hospital in Michigan to make the list 2006 through 2013.
