Dear Friends,
As you are reading this column, the finishing touches are being put into place on our hospital's three-year expansion project. It is no small feat to bring such a major project to fruition on time and on budget. Yet, we have done just that, and I heartily congratulate everyone who has had a hand in making this project a reality.

Reading articles about our new Intensive Care/ Telemetry Unit on the main level, the Special Care Nursery, which raises the level of care we can provide to newborns, and the boulevard visitor entrance off 27^th Street provides only a glimpse into the many improvements recently made to our beautiful, patient-centered facility. You really need to see Holland Hospital firsthand to appreciate all that it has to offer our community.

To that end, we are thoroughly pleased to invite you to our Expansion Grand Opening on Saturday, Sept. 8. Tours, refreshments, a health fair and the opportunity to meet with our dedicated and knowledgeable staff are just a few of the activities planned. Admission is free, so bring the whole family. Holland Hospital would not be the facility it is today if not for the ongoing support of the communities we serve. We thank you, and we look forward to celebrating our progress with you at our Grand Opening on Sept. 8.
