 Hospital Expansion
Holland Hospital has served as the health care leader for Holland and the Lakeshore area for almost 90 years. The recent completion of Holland Hospital's three-year expansion project added over 90,000 square feet of new space and 30,000 square feet of renovated space to the main facility, and includes the following enhancements:
Intensive Care Unit
A new, ground-floor ICU, near the ED, with all private patient rooms and advanced monitoring and communication tools. The spacious and comfortable environment emphasizes safety, high quality patient care and efficiency.
Special Care Nursery
A higher, more advanced level of care for prenatal and nursery patients. The new Special Care Nursery provides advanced care for pre-term babies born as early as 32 weeks.
Cardiac Pulmonary Rehab
The latest exercise and monitoring equipment in an expansive, new facility designed to encourage lifestyle changes, maximize performance and promote recovery.
Emergency Department
An expanded Emergency Department with more than double the number of treatment rooms. Includes cardiac rooms designed for swift care of patients with critical illnesses, infrared nurse-call system, and new X-ray room and triage area.
 The CafÉ
Open to public, the new Café is a spacious, comfort-able and bright oasis for patients, visitors and hospital staff. It's expansive 10-foot-tall windows provide an open view and abundant natural light. The Cafe's inviting atmosphere and wide selection of tasty cuisine provide a pleasant and convenient location for breakfast, lunch or dinner. New outdoor patio seating and umbrella tables offer another casual dining experience.
Chapel of Hope and Healing Garden
  Serving as a sanctuary for people of all faiths, the Chapel of Hope provides a place for reflection and prayer.
Adjacent to the Chapel, is the future home of the Healing Garden, coming in December 2007. This climate-controlled atrium will include stone walkways, a five-foot waterfall, planters and trees, and serve as an area of comfort and contemplation to visitors and patients.
Gift Shop
 The new Gift Shop is not like the usual hospital gift shop, it's more like a gift boutique within the hospital. Operated entirely by volunteers, all proceeds are used to fund special hospital services and programs.
