Overview
Holland Hospital’s Ambulatory Treatment Unit (ATU) provides a range of outpatient services, including care of patients undergoing a wide variety of procedures and treatments such as wound care, diabetes management, interventional radiology, CT biopsies. Cardiac patients requiring certain procedures, such as an angiogram, angioplasty, or heart catheterization, receive their pre- and post-procedure care from our ATU patient care staff.
Medications and Testing
Bring a list of your medications and dosage schedule, known allergies and a medical history with you. You should also bring any of your current medications you’ll need to take while at the hospital to stay on your current prescribed schedule.
Your nurse can provide your lab or diagnostic test results in person. They cannot provide this information over the phone so please ask any questions while at the hospital or plan to discuss with your physician.
Appointments and Scheduling
Your physician will schedule your appointment for you. If you have several doctors directing your care, please be sure that each one knows about your ATU appointment. ATU patients in treatment over 4 hours and during the hours of 11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m. will be served a light meal.
If you need to make a scheduling change please call (616) 394-3367.
