Orthopedic Joint Replacement Surgeons
Holland Hospital Joint Replacement Center's orthopedic surgeons are specially trained in prevention, diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. Each is recognized for orthopedic leadership and excellence. They offer some of the latest innovations in joint replacement including hip resurfacing, partial knee replacement and the anterior approach to hip replacement.

Joint Replacement Care Coordinator
The Joint Care Coordinator will help guide your care needs from your surgeon's office to the hospital to home. The Coordinator will:

  • Answer questions before, during or after your surgery
  • Coordinate your hospital care with team members
  • Review what you need to continue your recovery beyond the hospital setting
  • Assist with your discharge plan to home or a skilled nursing facility depending on your needs

Joint Care Nurses
Our nursing staff is comprised of registered nurses and unit technicians working together to provide comprehensive care. Many of our nurses have earned specialty certification in orthopedic nursing (ONC) or Medical/Surgical nursing (CMSRN).

Physicians, Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners
Your surgeon works with our skilled team to direct your care throughout your hospital stay. Your primary care doctor and his/her support staff will monitor your condition and help meet your care needs.

Physical Therapists and Assistants
Physical therapists guide you in the important work of returning you to your daily activities. They create an exercise plan designed to help you regain strength, balance, range of motion and improved mobility.

Occupational Therapists and Assistants
Occupational therapists will help you recover the ability to perform routine daily tasks, such as bathing and dressing with your new joint. If you need special equipment during rehabilitation, they will help you select and learn to use that equipment.

Home Health Professionals
Should you require assistance after you return home, our discharge planners will help identify options for you. Holland Hospital Home Health Services offers excellent medical care in the comfort of your home. A full range of services and clinical specialties are available to meet short or long-term needs. Personal care services are also offered to assist with daily needs such as meal preparation, bathing, and other tasks.
